The Benigno Family welcomed everyone to celebrate his life and pay their last respects as we bid farewell to him. He is loved and will be missed. But he is at peace with God and smiling upon us.
Services - May 14, 2014 (Wednesday)
The Benigno Family held services for Bernardo at the Mauka Chapel in the Mililani Memorial Park in the evening. Howard Dicus provided introductions for participants of the services. Monsignor John S. Mbinda provided a few words of condolences and prayers. Then special words of remembrances and honor were provided by family members, Gail King, Damian Benigno, Felix Dela Cruz, Amelia Acoba, Lily Agbayani and Francisco "Kiko" Benigno. Music and songs were provided by Norlita Yere, Norman Garma and Agnes Simpliciano. Thank you to friends and family members who provided the lovely flowers.

Mass - May 15, 2014 (Thursday)
Mass was held at the St. John Apostle and Evangelist Catholic Church in Mililani, conducted by Monsignor John S. Mbinda. Pall bearers included Bernardo, Van, Adrian, Dwayne, Gabriel and Damian. Bible passages were read by Bernardo Jr., Gabriel and Jennifer. Gifts were presented by Gail, Lydia and Vanessa. Van was the cross-bearer throughout the Mass.

Burial - May 15, 2014 (Thursday)
Following the Mass, Bernardo was finally laid to rest at Mililani Memorial Park. The Schofield Barracks Honor Guard, led by US Army Christopher Grigsby, provided full military honors. The Honor Guard provided a 15 gun salute, a bugler played Taps and they performed the ceremonial folding of the flag and presentation of the flag to Grace. Also, with Monsignor John's prayers and blessing, he gave her the gift of a Cross. Bernardo's family bid him final farewells with heavy hearts and so much love.
